Indiana Do‑Not‑Call Registry
Now Included in Our Compliance Database

We’re excited to announce that Scour Now has officially added Indiana’s state-specific Do‑Not‑Call (DNC) registry to our compliance database!

Why This Matters

Although the National DNC Registry covers most telemarketing numbers, more than a dozen states—including Indiana—maintain their own lists with stricter protections. The Indiana registry is updated quarterly (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1), and applies to both landlines and mobile/VOIP numbers

Indiana law prohibits sales calls or texts to any number listed on this state registry, with a few exemptions, such as:

  • Charitable organizations

  • Newspapers (volunteer/employer calls)

  • Licensed insurance or real estate agents

  • Finance, mortgage, broadband providers under an existing business relationship

What This Change Means for You
  • Comprehensive Scrubbing: Your outbound calls or texts will now also suppress numbers from the Indiana registry alongside national and other state lists.

  • Reduced Risk: Violating Indiana DNC law can result in fines up to $10,000 for a first offense, and $25,000 for each subsequent violation

  • Clean & Consistent Updates: We’ll pull new registry data every quarter—no extra work needed on your end.
